Anita Lopez, the Lucas County Auditor will be there with staff to outline how you can apply to reduce the property taxes on your rental properties.
Also, Leeann DuBois, CPA, will be presenting relevant tax information for this year with advice and tips on preparing your taxes.
There will also be a short presentation on the status of the Toledo Lead Ordinance with programs available to help Housing Providers meet the deadlines.
Finally, we will be having small roundtable discussions of ways to help a struggling homeowner get out from under a difficult financial situation and how you could acquire the property and help her at the same time. Afterward, we'll bring all the tables together to discuss the various ways to help her.
This will be an exciting event with many learning opportunities.
